Iesha’s expertise is used to assist individuals with becoming aware of their thinking-patterns, how these patterns affect their lives, and promote change, where change is best for a healthier life. She currently leads our Protector Project Program; that exclusively serves First Responders, acknowledging their unique needs and preferences with sensitive focus on trauma and the need to return quickly to their personal and professional lives.
Iesha believes that all humans have the power within themselves to live fulfilled and happy lives, but it may take tough change to become our greatest selves.
Two mottos she lives by:
“When you can’t change the direction of the wind, adjust your sails.” And “Let go of the things you can’t change and focus on the things you can.”
With more than 32 years in recovery, my life has been a blessing and a gift. My resolve to assist alcoholics and addicts on their journey into real life remains unwavering. My life experiences and diverse educational background has afforded me the know-how and the privilege to work with individuals as they realize their immense potential, value and worth. Please don’t be discouraged by past failures. Remember that each experience represents a unique opportunity for learning.
I have been on this journey and know and believe that a life filled with the promise of happiness in recovery is possible and that individuals can successfully navigate life’s challenges. Achieving and maintaining long-term recovery requires a new life perspective, one that empowers you to heal with acceptance, enlightenment, and compassion for other human beings. You will walk a path you have never walked before because I believe you can. I know it works, I have been there… it is part of my education as much as was Stony Brook University and Universal Brotherhood Movement.
My philosophy is empowering. My vision for you is breathtaking and my mission is solidly founded on the knowledge that you too can find yourself and a place where you belong with the help of others.
Take a leap of faith and allow my experience to guide you and mentor you through your early drug treatment recovery… you have nothing more to lose and infinite wisdom and knowledge to gain.
Anthony Chambers is a Personal Power Life Coach, Motivational Speaker and Corporate Trainer and we are honored to have him work with our clients at Waters Edge Recovery.
Anthony has too many awards to mention here, but many highlight his work at a community level with young, underserved populations. Anthony founded the High Desert Youth Center in Southern California, which later evolved into the first independent Charter school, serving at-risk youth within a community of over 400,000 residents. In 2003, he was noted as one of the Top 10 most influential African Americans in the High Desert Community of San Bernardino, California, and received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Pentecostal Bible College of Tuskegee, Alabama, West Coast Campus, for his service to the community. He is the author of Power Up Your Faith and Take Charge of Your Life!
In a word, Anthony’s work with our clients is transformational and his workshops are principally designed to inspire our clients to uncover and embrace their inner resources, vocalizing and inspiring power and hope in our clients.
Jef Mullins, our CDO, describes Anthony’s contribution to our client journey: “Our task is to create a safe, professional, organized and loving space for our clients. Anthony then inspires them to feel and think OUTSIDE OF IT.”
Anthony works at a group and one-to-one level with our newest clients and supports them to understand that they have exceptional strength and talent that has so far been wasted in the service of addiction. He helps them to redirect those resources towards a future defined by service to others, personal success and confidence. Anthony says of his approach “I direct our clients to the awareness that all they hope to be, they already are, and must learn to point their attention there. I help shift their focus to accept this as a new reality and to understand they don’t have potential, but are potential becoming aware of itself.”
