Our treatment center and residential building are steps away from each other, eliminating the time that most centers spend busing their guests around from the house to the actual clinical office. The accommodations for our guests are two beds per room. Select rooms have a water view overlooking the serene Saint Lucie River near Martin County. Waters Edge Recovery maintains a small number of beds because we believe in keeping treatment intimate. We believe our clients should be treated as guests—not patients. The only way to do that is to keep it small so that everyone is on a first name basis.
The treatment guests receive at Waters Edge Recovery is our number one priority. Each guest is treated with the utmost dignity and respect, paying close attention to an individual’s needs. With this approach we are able to re-instill the loss of self-confidence many addicts feel early on. We are here to make a difference in the lives of our guests, as well as their family and loved ones. The staff at Waters Edge Recovery believes that it is a privilege to be part of the life changing and healing process of your holistic recovery.
- We offer various levels of care, starting with the highest level called Day/Night Treatment with Community Housing.
- After Day/Night Treatment, guests will start to integrate into the community, obtain a sponsor if they have not already done so, and gain a support system and a job. While doing so, they will receive treatment at the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Level of Care.
- After completing IOP, our clients will then move into Outpatient as a step down. This level of care allows the individual an opportunity to interact with the real world environment while still receiving ongoing support for therapy.
The clinical staff, in collaboration with the guest’s input, will develop an individualized holistic treatment program tailored to each client’s unique needs. Safe and supportive sober living in a structured sober living home is highly recommended at this level of treatment with an ongoing connection to attending groups, assistance with job searches, resume building, and implementation of coping skills paired with individual/family therapy.
